Spend a whole morning indulging in pregnancy bliss. This class is designed to help you feel calm, at ease and utterly relaxed.
I’ll start off by welcoming you into the space with a hot or cold beverage of your choice, accompanied with a spread of biscuits, cookies, fresh fruit and healthy nibbles. Once everyone has arrived, the class begins. We’ll spend a bit of time getting to know each other and sharing our pregnancy journeys so far. Once everyone is settled in, I’ll lead a discussion on fears and worries about birth and early motherhood. I’ll dispel common myths, share results from research studies, help you to understand how your body works to birth a baby- anything you need to help you on your way to a positive birth and a positive start to motherhood. Then it’ll be time to head to the extra-squashy yoga mats, pillows and blankets where I’ll teach you some wonderful hypnobirthing techniques..
Finally, we’ll end with a fabulous lunch (when we’ll be joined by mums coming along to the afternoon session- so you’ll not only meet other pregnant mums but also mums that have already been through it all and had their babies too).
This whole session is designed to be about YOU! It’s your time to take, your time to connect with your unborn baby, your time to acknowledge your feelings and let them flow, your time to think about yourself, to slow down and to really remember the walking miracle you are. I want you to leave, not only feeling relaxed, but also loved, confident and strong.
Each session will be kept to a maximum of 6 mums, so you will each get your time to speak (if you want to) and there will be plenty of time for me to support each of you in the way that you need.
